The King Of The Ring being the first PPV pitting the Raw superstars against the Smackdown! ones, Mr. McMahon decided to book a match between the two General Managers in order to symbolize this clash the best way possible.

When Stephanie was the Women's Champion, Bischoff did everything in his power to make sure Stephanie would be humiliated, and through her Smackdown!, before the end of the show (being forced to be under Bischoff's rule when on Raw). Bischoff was all the more delighted when at Judgment Day Stephanie lost the "Loser becomes the winner's servant" match against Lita. Under Lita's domination, Stephanie's life has become a living Hell and she had to undergo humiliations after humiliations which gave Bischoff a good laugh at his former rival. Even though Lita has proclaimed herself the General Manager of Smackdown!, the official one remains Stephanie.

For the past weeks, Lita has made sure to give Stephanie enough chores to perform in order to exhaust her and preventing her from being at 100% of her abilities since the match has a special stipulation. Indeed, the winner of this match will be granted the right to ask whatever s/he wants from the loser whether it is a wrestler's contract, money, or anything s/he sees fit. Hence, prior to the King Of The Ring, Lita made sure to have Stephanie signed a contract stipulating she refuses to fight Lita for the belt on Raw which would have released her from her slavery if she'd have win it.

Can Stephanie overcome the odds and find a way to break free from Lita or will Bischoff have his way with Stephanie and make her life even more miserable...
