A video tribute paid by Eric Bischoff showed the accomplishment of Chris Jericho the night before when he became the King Of The Ring and brilliantly defended his Hardcore Championship against three tough opponents. The video clip was accompanied by an epic music to emphasize the 'greatness' of Y2J.

Raw opening


Eric Bischoff made his way to the red-carpeted ring and announced that tonight will be a night of celebration! He said that Raw has proven its superiority over Smackdown! Indeed, both the King and Queen of The Ring are from Raw and so is the Undisputed Champion...But tonight it's not about him but about them, Bischoff said emphasizing 'them'. Bischoff continued saying that this night was dedicated to the jewels of Raw: Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus! However, these two deserve to be applauded, Bischoff pointed out and that's why he demanded all the Raw superstars to join him inside the ring to congratulate the Royal Couple! Much to the crowd surprise, all the locker room came...even though for many they were escorted to the ring by security members! Once everybody was in the ring, Jerry Lawler's music hit but instead of Lawler came Jericho and Trish on a throne with carriers!!! Jericho and Trish looked very proud and haughty up there. Meanwhile, Bischoff and Stacy were waiting for them to enter the ring and had little cushions with the couple's crowns on them. It was obvious to everyone but Bischoff that Stacy was eating her heart out looking at Trish and her eyes threw lighting bolts at her. Once in the ring, Jericho didn't want any longer to take the crown from Bischoff's hands and to place it on his head. Bischoff thus announced proudly 'Ladies and Gentlemen, your King, Chris Jericho!!!!' As far as Stacy was concerned, she grabbed the crown and nailed it on Trish's head violently but not enough to be considered an attack or a blow. Stacy reluctantly announced Trish as everybody's Queen. Bischoff startled when he looked at the Raw superstars and asked them what they were waiting for and without waiting for an answer ordered them to bow in from of their King and Queen! Some of them complied but the vast majority was forced to do so by security members! Jericho thanked Bischoff for this little party worthy of a King and said that it was time for his first decision as Raw's monarch. He reminded everyone the stipulation linked to the King Of The Ring, that is to say, the winner would be granted a title shot for the Undisputed Championship any time he wished. Jericho said that this was the only reason why he entered the tournament because he already knew he was a far better athletes than the rest of the Raw, no, the entire WWE superstars! Now that he calls the shots, he said he had already waited long enough and wanted his championship match tonight! Jericho handed the mic to Trish and the new Queen told the audience that the same stipulation applied to the Queen of The Ring as well and is more determined as ever to get the title back as well as getting rid Raw of that nuisance from Smackdown! called Lita! Hence she also desires a championship match tonight! Bischoff was ecstatic: two major championship matches all in one night!

1) In a match to settle the score, Brock Lesnar defeated Randy Orton in 2:12 with an F-5.

In the General Manager office, Stacy Keibler was sitting on the GM's desk with a cellphone on her left hand while she was playing darts with the other. Stacy asked if that person was still interested in her offer and when that person accepted Stacy was more than delighted! Stacy then asked when this person could come and Stacy smiled with all her teeth when she repeated 'next week'! Stacy ended the call and focused again on the darts she was throwing. The camera showed that the target was nothing else than a picture of Chris Jericho and Trish Stratus! Most of the darts were however on Trish's face...
Trish was in the center of the ring to host her now famous 'Blonde Minute' and this week her guest is none other than 'the great, the marvelous, the magnificient, the awsomely good-looking and talented' Chris Jericho! Trish praised the accomplishments of Jericho all over again and Jericho announced that later on the guest of the Highlight Reel will be the Queen of the Ring: Trish! As a side note, Jericho is the first superstar to actually be present during the Blonde Minute instead of a cardboard. Trish then went on speaking about Jericho's championship match. Jericho looked puzzled. Trish told him that the match lacked a pretty face and very unbiased referee such as herself to call it right down the middle! Jericho was on cloud nine and approved this idea with much enthusiasm! As a consequence the Undisputed championship match will now have a special guest referee!

2) Ultimo Dragon defeats Rey Mysterio in 4:26 with the Dragon Sleeper and becomes the new Cruiserweight Champion! During the match, Ultimo Dragon countered the West Coast Pop with a Spinning Wheel Kick.

Chris Jericho was in Bischoff's office with Trish and asked him if the stipulations were still the same for the Championship match and Bischoff reassured him telling him to cool down a bit and that everything would unfold as expected...Jericho rubbed his hands eager for the match to happen. Trish told them that she had to go to get ready for her match.
After the commercial break, Trish was in her locker room and was shocked, as well as furious, to discover all her wardrobe torn apart...again!!! She stormed out of her locker room and met Lita. The Queen accused Lita to be responsible for that knowing how much she hates her. Lita denied but admitted she would have loved doing so. Nevertheless, Trish guaranteed her to kick her little ass tonight! Meanwhile, on a monitor, Stacy smiled at the scene.

3) Trish Stratus defeats Lita in 2:51 with the Stratusfaction to become the new Women's Champion. To piss off Lita, Trish sang at the end of the match 'na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!' since it was the last time Lita would step foot on Raw.

Shawn Michaels made his way to the ring and announced that tonight he would be in his teammate's corner, knowing perfectly well that the odds are stacked against him. Booker T's music hit and the 5 time wCw Champion joined HBK in the ring. The Bookman made fun of HBK's loss over Jericho at the KOTR but Michaels told him that at least he didn't lose at the event in 1:45 against Edge!!! Booker T was furious but managed to calm down and answered that he didn't feel good that day and that's the only reason why Edge was able to defeat him. Otherwise, he added, he could beat Edge any day of the week and twice on Sundays! At this moment, Edge's music hit the arena and the former Intercontinental and US champion made his return to Raw! Booker T was shocked and couldn't believe his eyes believing to have been rid of Edge for good. Edge was not in a good mood and Michaels angered him even more when he mocked him pointing out he was missing two belts without having been pinned. Edge told him he was exactly right, he had never been pinned for these belt and hence should still be the champion! He said that not only Lita and the nWo had screwed him last week but he was screwed once again on the KOTR! Michaels made fun of him saying that Canadians are just whiners always complaining about getting screwed, obviously alluding to Bret Hart. The situation quickly degenerated and an unprompted match took place!

4) Edge defeats Shawn Michaels and Booker T in a Triple Threat match in 4:07 with a School Boy pin on HBK right after the latter nailed a Sweet Chin Music on Booker T.

It was now time for the Highlight Reel with Trish Stratus as the honorary guest! Jericho congratulated her for her achievements: being the Queen of the Ring and now, the new Women's Champion! Trish faked modesty and told him that fans would now had the 'terrific' opportunity to see her twice a week! She added that she would try her best to make the crappy show that is Smackdown! look half decent. Jericho and Trish laughed at this thought. Jericho then asked her about his championship match and the eventuallity that he too would perhaps join her in Smackdown!. Trish said that she sure hoped so and announced that in the championship there will be a special stipulation granted by Mister Eric Bischoff: The Title could now change hand via Disqualification and Count out as well! Jericho then took something out of a little bag that was near a seat and gave it to Trish. Trish unfolded it and it was her very revealing referee shirt. Wasting no time, Trish took off her shirt much to the pleasure of the audience who cheered and put the referee shirt on her. Jericho said they have wasted too much time already and he was ready to become the new Undisputed championship! He demanded some 'assclowns'to get the ring ready for his match.

5) Chris Jericho defeats Triple H in 6:27 with Trish Stratus as the special referee via disqualification when Shawn Michaels helped Triple H when he was in the Walls Of Jericho. Chris Jericho thus becomes the new WWE Undisputed Champion once again. During the match, Jericho kicked out from one of Triple H's Pedigree.

The show ended with Triple H being mad at Shawn for his interference while on the top turnbuckle Y2J and Trish were celebrating their victory, becoming the first ever WWE Golden Couple!
